With the coming end of the era of "traditional" combustion vehicles, the Polish government is introducing an innovative subsidy program aimed at accelerating the market adaptation to electric cars (EV) and plug-in versions.
Co-financing reaches up to PLN 70,000!
"My Electrician" Program - Financial Support
The "My Electrician" program is an incentive for users to switch from combustion vehicles to zero-emission vehicles. So far, the subsidies available were not very high, but now the government has allocated an additional pool of funds of PLN 250 million to support people who dream of owning an electric vehicle. The duration of the program is limited.
The "My Elektryk" subsidy program for electric cars has been active since 2021 and is scheduled to last until 2025. What will happen next remains unknown. Meanwhile, people considering replacing their vehicle with an electric one can receive financial support in the amount of PLN 18,570 or PLN 27,000 with the Large Family Card.

The next funding pool of PLN 250 million is addressed mainly to companies. They will receive financial support aimed at revitalizing their transport sector. Thanks to the additional cash injection, business owners will be able to expand their business to a higher level in accordance with the principles of green transformation. This is a significant step towards global change in public transport, which has resisted change for the longest time.
Unfortunately, private individuals who want to purchase a car for their own use will not be able to take advantage of this subsidy pool. However, it is hoped that the government will consider adding more funds to the pot next year.
The time until 2035, when the registration of combustion cars in the European Union will be impossible, is rapidly shrinking. Therefore, the decision to switch to zero-emission vehicles is becoming more and more urgent.
