Changes to the ‘My Electrician’ programme - funds have run out!

"My Electrician" is one of the key initiatives that were to effectively promote the development of electromobility in Poland. Obtaining subsidies for the purchase or leasing of electric cars was not reserved exclusively for entrepreneurs - private individuals could also benefit from the program. They could, because, as we learn, the budget allocated for subsidies has just run out...

Growing pro-ecological awareness means that we increasingly associate our plans to change cars with zero-emission vehicles. It is no wonder that the "My Electrician" program immediately electrified Poles, who started applying. As a result, the PLN 660 million budgeted for this purpose has already been exhausted, so there will be no subsidies until the end of 2024.

2025 may be a chance, if the program is resumed.

Other options

Despite the temporary suspension of the program, individuals and entrepreneurs can still apply for funding to purchase electric vehicles for cash or on credit. This means that those who plan to buy a vehicle with their own funds can still count on financial support from the state. Regardless of the car we want to buy.

The exhaustion of funds for leasing electric vehicles says one thing: interest in electromobility in Poland is growing rapidly. More and more companies are opting for a fleet of electric vehicles, seeing not only ecological but also economic benefits.

My Electrician Program

Let us recall that the aim of the "My Electrician" program is to promote the purchase and use of electric vehicles. It is a response to the needs related to the idea of sustainable development, and therefore also green transport. As the current situation shows, the initiative has strongly motivated Poles to switch to zero-emission cars.

Will the next step be the rapid expansion of the charging infrastructure in the country?
